The Great American Distillers Festival is an annual celebration of craft distilleries from across the United States. Taste some of the country’s most interesting spirits, learn about everything from whiskey to gin and meet distillers one on one at the premier gathering of craft distillers in the country.  The festival also happens in conjunction with the Portland Cocktail Invitational, a live competition sponsored by the Oregon Bartenders Guild and Imbibe Magazine and featuring some of the country’s most talented bartenders vying for a $1000 cash prize. Entry to the competition is included in the festival ticket price, and it’s always a fun and entertaining chance to watch bartenders at their best—and to taste some amazing cocktails. This year’s competition will also give the audience a chance to vote on their favorites.
